These are the guys who started all of this back in August of 2017. They came together as family men who just loved to play games and wanted to have a place to play without worrying about anything.
I am Zebukiel; Zeb for short. Being a full time streamer is my second full time job. My first, and most important job, is being a full time caregiver to my two boys, due to my youngest having Duchenne’s muscular dystrophy. This also allows me to be a Domestic God for my wife, and an amazing boyfriend to my girlfriend, as we are happily polyamorous.
One of the reasons I became a full time streamer, was to impress upon my children the importance of chasing of their dreams; to do what they love. I am an advocate for optimistic thinking with a positive outlook on life. I also like to help others, and do my best to offer up that help to not only the gamers within the community, but also to my supporters in chat; whether that be a listening ear, advice on a difficult situation, or just a safe place for a gamer to blow off some steam and play a round or two.
The reason I became a part of Powerless Gaming, was because I had aspirations to create a safe and positive community for gamers. A place where gamers of all ages, skill level, or preferred genre can come together and enjoy their time without the negative aspects of the internet clouding their fun with cynicism and bad vibes. I think we have done what we can to achieve this ambitious goal by promoting a no tolerance policy on cyber bullying, trolling, or intolerance of any sort. I likely have one of the strictest chats, as Automod is cranked to an eleven, with moderators who understand me, and what I expect, within my chat.
I have been gaming for over 25 years at this point. I have also been an entertainer for over 16 years owning my own DJ company which I still do today.
My gaming background starts from the PC back in the mid late 90’s. I started broadcasting using the application name Win-amp. Had two very successful radio stations working with Game Radio and building them up to over 100 listeners on a daily basis. I would have to say my peak as a broadcaster was broadcasting live from the CPL in Dallas Texas and doing player interviews, having almost 10,000 listeners.
I also helped build up The Battle Ground Land Centers in Manchester CT. Hosting many tournaments that had close to 300 people and 60 teams. Was a guest broadcaster and admin to many other tournaments throughout New England. Helping them grow and network along the way.
Working hard to help build and expand our community. We try to make sure everybody can play games without having to worry about trolls, racism or just plain rude people.
These individuals help when called upon to deal with the scum of the internet – trolls. Without them, this place would be a madhouse.
I occasionally stream, and am actively working on trying to be better at doing it. When I do stream, it is a variety of whatever games I am playing at the time, or creative doing 3d modelling in zBrush and Blender.
PLG was a great opportunity for me to get involved in a community that really cares about helping and improving each person to be the best that they can be. We always know that if we need somebody to talk to about anything, there is somebody available that has probably dealt with the same thing. Getting a chance to help improve the quality of this family has been a real privilege.
